Folder size in OneDrive

Question

Hi everyone,

I am using OneDrive for storage using the web browser ( I don't use the desktop app or the mobile apps)

When I click on the 3 dotted icons and when I see the 'Details' to see the file size of the folder, it show a very high file size for the contents inside the folder.

But when I go inside the folder and check each file and see the file size, it's a much lower number.

Any idea to why is this?

Hi @Pamu ,
There is no options in OneDrive online can help you check the size for hidden files. In my opinion, you can try to sync all files to local PC and check if it will help you.
You can also test, remove the largest file from the problem folder and check if the folder size will correct in OneDrive online.
