Hi
I am developing a form and need the option of having either or, or none on an activeX button. At the moment I can make a choice of one or another, but can't deselect a choice.
I have gone through the properties and not found one which seems to cover this scenario.
Help appreciated in advance
Dawn

    An option button is a poor choice for your scenario. Replace them with checkboxes, which can be unchecked after checking.

    Hi John
    Thank you for the response, but I'm looking for a solution which is more adaptable.
    Check boxes allow more than one to be chosen in a particular section.
    I need the customer to be able to click on a choice or un-click if they realise they have made an error, is the only alternative an N/A option button too?

    Then use a combobox. They allow a single choice, or no choice.

    Are you sure you want to use ActiveX? They don't work at all in Word for Mac. Content Controls might be a better type of form control.

    Hi John

    Thank you for your answer, unfortunately this isn't a suitable solution either. We have products to choose from, information on those products and prices linked to them. All this information needs to be readily available to choose from, or not as the case maybe. Somethings are a definite necessity to choose one of a selection, but others are optional (but still have options between one thing and another).
    The form has previously been developed in PDF which seems to have more functionality, however it is harder to manipulate the format of the form.
    FYI I'm not using a Mac.

    @Viorel
    Thank you for your answer too.

    The solution I have found is the ActiveX Check box, so a combo of check box and radio button. Seems to do the job so far.

    Thanks for the support :)
