I have a computer worth of 1500 EUR Asus Rog laptop with top specs and now I have just found out I cannot upgrade to windows 11 because my processor is not compatible with it. What the heck ? My computer is about 5 years old and is still best of the best at performance. This is absolutely absurd. And now I should bought a new laptop even though this one works and it will work perfectly for the next 5 years with no problem ??? What is this happening???

    Hello,

Unfortunately, i7-7700HQ processor is not compatible for Windows 11, according to Microsoft.

Please check with official Windows 11 list of supported processors:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-intel-processors

You can drop a feedback to Microsoft about this, using Feedback hub app.

    Regards.
