Hi @Peter_1985 ,
You could use jQuery AJAX and WebMethod, the records will be fetched using DataSet received as XML string and then the XML string will be used to populate (bind) the ASP.Net Repeater on Client Side using jQuery.

It's ok for any data type in your database. You could use above codes and then it will return json type data. You need convert the json data in the client.

What's meanings of passing more parameters to SqlCommand? Do you want to add parameters in new SqlCommand()? By the way, about the red line of cmd, you have defined SqlCommand cmd, so you aren't necessary write SqlCommand again before cmd.

According to your codes, lb_user_id may be is your control's id in your page. You could check if you have a label control which id is lb_user_id in your aspx page.

According to your codes,I find two problems.
First,you need to change RegisterRoutes. In the App_Start folder, do like this in the RouteConfig.cs file.

public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes)  
        {  
            var settings = new FriendlyUrlSettings();  
            settings.AutoRedirectMode = RedirectMode.Off;   //change permanent to off.  
            routes.EnableFriendlyUrls(settings);  
        }

Second, your GetDesc method need to add static. Like this:

 [WebMethod]  
        public static string GetDesc()  
        {   
        }

Hi,
The save event should be able to save all comments (one by one) into the table, and when refreshing the web page, the comments saved inside the table, should be retrieved and put into CK editor (one comment after another).

CKEditor is a pure JavaScript component and it does not offer anything more than JavaScript methods and events to access the data. You could use ajax with CKEDITOR.editor.getData to get and save data. At the same thing,you could use ajax to return the data from your database.

Is there any other better approach to retrieve the saved remark/comment, and show it on the ASP page, other than using CKeditor? For instance that remark/comment could be originally edited/input by CK Editor.

CKEditor is a text editor.If you just want to show comment on the page,you could use any controls, such as labels,Repeaters, Listview and so on. About how to show data from your database,I suggest you could use ajax to return the value.
