Hi All

I have a SBS 2008 Server that's my Primary DC and I want to make a Server Essentials 2019 a read only secondary domain controller, is this possible, given the fact that I can't have both on the same domain.

Side Note: I'm migrating to M365 and want to promote the Server Essentials 2019 after the migration and decommission the SBS.

That would not work. Server Essentials 2019 will want to be a root writable domain controller.

    OK understood,

What is the best route to take when migrating from SBS 2008 to Essential 2019 and MS365 in my case.
