I use SetWindowDisplayAffinity with dll injection.
Only Windows 11 returns an error.
GetLastError: 0x8
I want to protect the browser screen.

Are you using Visual C++?
Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10: No error.
MS Edge and Chrome: error code 0x8
BOOL result = SetWindowDisplayAffinity(hWnd, WDA_MONITOR); // Windows 11 only false return.
DWORD nRet = GetLastError(); // 0x8
Could you please show a minimal, reproducible sample without private information?
It is estimated to be a bug of window 11.

On Windows 11 SetWindowDisplayAffinity seems to work only for simple Win32 applications like Notepad and console
I believe this is a bug, in this case open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
