I followed this tutorial: https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-change-user-profile-folder-name/#:~:text=Select%20your%20user%20profile%20and,Continue%20to%20save%20the%20changes in order to change my user folder name.
What should I do?
I need my things back ASAP I’m an university student, it would mean the world to me if you can help me as soon as possible.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your problem in Microsoft Q&A forum.

In order to better understand your issue, please kindly provide more information to describe it.

"System.UnauthorizedAccessException" after changing my User Folder Name.

Did you mean the error occurred when you tried to access the user folder after the folder name was changed?

Would you please share a screenshot to show the issue and error message?

If you have an access-dened issue when you accessed to the user folder, I'd suggest that you could create new user with rights to access the folder. Then you can login using this new user and access the folder to copy everything in it.

    Best regards,
