Thanks for relying.
I Can confirm I Logged out of the test user on the first pc before attempting to login with through the second pc.
I have also enable PKU2U on each pc as found in another posting. The two machines/devices are registered under Azure Active Directory.
Error Message: Your credentials did not work - login failed
This despite the credentials being the same as those used to subscribe to the desktop session on the RD client.
Logging in via Remote Desktop client to AVD- connecting with setup pc but not a second pc.
After setting up an Azure Virtual Desktop resource configuration using Win 10 multiuser image, I can connect using Remote Desktop Client via the setup pc, however using the same RDC app and credentials I cannot login via another pc which is essential for the multiuser environment. Note, the RDC app on the 2nd pc will accept the credentials for creating the session desktop and resource.

Can you try the Windows client for Azure Virtual Desktop and see how this works - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/user-documentation/connect-windows-7-10#install-the-windows-desktop-client
Can you also confirm that you are using Azure AD to authenticate, no Active Directory Domain Services or Azure AD Domain Services?
