Authenticator App only 8 digits

Question

I have tried every suggestion that has been posted on any Microsoft Page. I can still only receive 8 digit codes. I can no longer manage my home network security or VPN or even check mail. Every app asks for a 6 digit code to log in. My VPN even told me to log in and they could help me. I can't log in because I only get 8 digits now from MS Authenticator on my phone. I have been under constant attack from foreign entities. Now my entire network is vulnerable and I will have to shut everything down and lose communication to my people around the world, including in Ukraine where I desperately need to communicate. Please, I beg you, before someone I care about meets an untimely fate, please fix this. I am running out of time to be able to verify their safety.
