I'm trying Azure Virtual Desktop.
I've customized Windows 10 and ran Sysprep to make it an image.

After replicating the session host from the image
Various desktop icons are created when you log in for the first time. (For example, Google Chrome, Edge, Lhaplus, etc.)

Is it possible to customize the desktop icon with Group Policy etc.?

Also, can I customize the public desktop and apply it to the session host initialization before Sysprep?

If anyone knows about the above, it would be greatly appreciated if you could provide information.

Azure Virtual Desktop
Azure Virtual Desktop

    @ryosk25

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Platform, thanks for posting your query here.

    Yes, it is possible to customize with group policy.
    So you can apply the same customization options on AVD as with regular Windows 10 on a physical endpoint. For example, you can use GPOs to customize the start menu.
    Customize and export Start layout (Windows 10).

    Refer below on how to customize an image:

    Hope that helps.
