I'm trying to create computer vision instance on azure, but its throwing an error

I'm already having cognitive service contributor access.

@Jaimin Bhoi I think this is a intermittent scenario from Azure portal that displays this banner when it tries to validate the permissions or roles of the user while creating a resource. This usually happens for the first time or when the permissions are just assigned. Have you tried to logout and login to the portal and then check if the creation works for this user?

I have provided only the cognitive services contributor role to a user and created a computer vision resource successfully without this banner.

Thanks for the response.

I already have one computer vision instance in my resource group, can it be the reason? I've been trying to create the resource from last few weeks, I am getting the same error.

Ps: I've also tried in incognito but getting same error.

No, That is not an issue. The only limitation is you can create only one free tier computer vision resource in the subscription. You already have a contributor role so cognitive services contributor role is irrelevant. Are you using the same subscription to create the resource as seen from the assignments screen shot?

Yes, I'm using same subscription. Also I'm trying to deploy on West Europe region.

@Jaimin Bhoi Region should not be an issue. Does this happen to other users in the group?
If same behavior is seen for others I would recommend to go through Azure support route to have your settings reviewed for any issues with the subscription.

The same issue is seen with other members from the subscription.
Can you please let me know how to reach azure support? I actually wanted to reach there only, instead it redirected me here for asking question, so I asked question here.

@Jaimin Bhoi To raise a azure support case you would need to use the Azure portal and locate the Help+Support tab from the left hand side menu.
A valid support subscription is required to raise a case for technical assistance other than a billing enquiry.
