Hi there,

I believe these json files contains reference to Office documents opened from a cloud storage and if its shared. However, I could not find any documentation to this topic confirming this assumption.

Can anyone help me to point to the right direction?

path: C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\aggmru*.json

    Hi @Max

    Welcome to Q&A forum ~

So far, I do not find any relevant documentation either, but i agree with your judgment.

On my test environment, I find one PC with this folder aggmru.
If I locate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\Identities, I find that *_LiveId subfolder has the same "drive id" as the one folder under aggmru.

According to this link (Delete the Office Profile, and credentials, associated with a removed logon identity), the Identities registry entry is about Office profile and credentials.
Some accounts of cloud service ( Such as OneDrive and SharePoint account) that you signed in Office will be recoreded in *_LiveId subfolder registries.

Then I open one json file under aggmru, I find there is some information (Such as URL, Title, File Size and etc) related to the shared file I opened from other OneDrive users or my own OneDrive.

    Hope the information is helpful.
