Hybrid Configuration Wizard Error 10277 Failed to Invoke set-federatedorganizaitonidentified

I am running into issues running the HCW and the log files are pointing to the following:

    From this article, we can know this phenomenon related to network configuration. Please make sure Office 365 URLs and IP address ranges could be accessed from your Exchange successfully first.

    If there exist proxy settings on your Exchange server, you also need to check about it, or remove it directly:

    Same problem here but completely ruled out proxy ... have tried this from domain-joined machines both on prem and in Azure.

    Just can't seem to get past this issue in the wizard ... it always hangs at "Adding Federated Domain".

    Any useful ideas?

    same here still stuck on adding federated domain on Exchange 2010 SP3, any ideas?

    Related to this problem, has anyone checked this article? The problem seems to be related to having registered your domain with Windows Live previously.
