Hi, I am a DevOps Engineer and the company I work for is going through migration from PCF to Kubernetes (specifically Azure Kubernetes Service).
I have looked into CKAD which seems to be the easiest one between CKA and CKAD but they are both quite expensive to get and not specific to AKS (What I am looking for can be vendor-neutral but specific to AKS would be a huge plus.) Are there any other certifications that you'd recommend that are cheaper? more specific to my needs? or more beginner-friendly? please let me know. Any suggestion would be helpful.
I am trying to pursue an entry-level Kubernetes certification (even better if it's AKS but doesn't have to be) to:
- Further my knowledge and prepare me for the migration (so far I feel like I understand the basics and I have created aks clusters and deployed simple applications to the web by following tutorials and documentation)
- I need some sort of Kubernetes Credential or Certification to set me apart from the other engineers in my team, the organization is trying to gauge commitment and interest to eventually form a Kubernetes specialty team and I would love to be part of that.
