I use a windows custom background everything seen right until I used the "recovery" feature
The office packed apps didn't work as well as my custom background that just appears green instead of the image.

    Hi @The DurchschnittlicherKnödelGenieß

What was the exact recovery method that you used that have caused this?

It seems there is some kind of driver issue or Windows malfunction from your screenshot. The best way to troubleshoot this would be to restore the PC before you have made these changes. You can use any one of the below recovery modes and see if they are helpful

How to refresh, reset, or restore your PC

You can also try to enter the safe mode and see if that changes anything. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode for Windows that starts your computer in a limited state. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started.

    Hope this resolves your Query!!

Try run Windows Update and download and install all updates.
Open start and search for feedback and open the Feedback Hub app and report this issue.
Try update your Graphic card driver.
Try perform a Clean Boot and if the problem have been fixed, then enable services one by one to identify which one caused this issue.
