Not able to create Azure CosmosDB instance in UK South Region

Question

HI , I am not able to create Azure Cosmosdb Instance in UK South Region. I am getting the following error on creation of the same. Any help is appreciated for the same :

Hi @RamSundarM , welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum. Firstly I want to apologize for the trouble you are facing.

It seems you are not able to create the Azure Cosmos Account on UK south region.

Reason is there are few regions that are experiencing capacity issues and because of that we are not able to create the resources on those regions. Internal team has been working on this issue to resolve it.

However to overcome this, there are 2 ways:

1. Create a support request and ask the support team to white list your subscription id for that region by mentioning the error you are getting. After whitelisting, you should be able to create the cosmos account in that region.
2. Create the cosmos account in other regions. I tried creating in North Europe and West US region and I was able to create it.
