Hello there,
I use SSRS in my workplace.
I see problem when I use Edge when I create and print reports.

Old "IE" has print icon, Edge hasn't this icon.
Old IE:

Edge:

There is big difference between printed report.
IE - print report only.
Edge - print report and all showed window...

Print IE:

Print Edge:

Czy jest inne rozwiązanie tego problemu?
Firefox, Chrome również nie drukują poprawnie raportów.

    Hi @Artur Bogusławski

Since the paper type is set to A4 and 15 columns are added to the report, the width of the Report Body will be much greater than the width of the Page Size. In this way, if print the report or export it to PDF or other formats with physical pagination, columns in the report will be split into several pages due to one page could not accommodate all columns.
For example, if there are 15 columns in the report, the 1st page displays the first 5 columns and the 2nd and 3rd page display next 10 columns. If there are more rows need to be displayed, the 4th page will display remaining rows in the first 5 columns and also the 5th and 6th page display rows in others columns.

Maybe you should modify the report and make the total width of all columns is less than the width of A4 paper. I referred to this thread:

    Best Regards,
    Isabella

    Hi @Artur Bogusławski ,

What is the version of IE browser? Earlier IE browser had better compatibility with SSRS, as SSRS support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 will be discontinued from August 17, 2021, Support for Edge (Internet Explorer mode) and Chrome will be supported going forward , but may experience some visual (non-functional) issues on versions of SSRS prior to 2016.
As far as I know, for SSSR2016, Chrome is a fully supported browser for interacting with Reporting Services. However for earlier versions, the only non-IE browsers supported (or at least partially supported) are Firefox and Safari. Older versions support progressively fewer features for non-IE browsers.

As the IE browser fully supported by SSRS2017, you can choose IE first.

For Chrome compatibility issues, you could consider the following scenarios:

    • Consider using the Legacy Browser Support extension for Chrome - this requires Group Policy settings to force some URLs to open in an IE window.
    • Use the IE Tab extension in Chrome to render certain sites using the IE rendering engine, but inside a Chrome tab.

    Best Regards,
    Joy
