If there are no errors when WOPI client sending request to WOPI host, I would suggest you check the browser.
Please search CMD to open Command Prompt, enter "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -extoff
, press Enter key to open IE without running add-ons.
Once done, navigate to the website where you're accessing the Microsoft Word documents and see if the issue persists.
Besides, you can also try to reset IE browser or change the browser to have a check.
