Hello,

we are using Azure Virtual Desktop and have deployed VM's using multi-session image. Although these VM's are deployed from multi-session image the users are having personal instances so there are only one user per session host.

We are testing the new Visual Studio Professional 2022 and during installation the users got the following error message.

I've found the following statement from Microsoft Learn: "Visual Studio does not support multiple simultaneous users using the software on the same machine".

Reference link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/developer/visualstudio/general/general/visual-studio-2022-unsupported-operating-systems

The users have installed the software and it seems to be working properly.

Should this be a concern while using the software?

    Hi @Aleksi Berghem ,
Thanks for posting your query on Microsoft QnA.

I understand you want to know if Visual Studio Professional 2022 will run on Azure virtual desktop with windows 10 enterprise multi-session image.

We would recommend to use Windows 10/11 Enterprise single session, as Visual studio support team will ask to switch to that OS if you run into an issue going forward.
It might work now, but in case of an issue, the support team would be able to repro the issue on a Single Session OS.

    Hope this helps.
