I have a Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 Version 10.0.14393 computer.
I want to encrypt it with bitlocker, in the bios I have activated the TPM.
When doing GeT-TPM, TPMREADY=FALSE appears.
When I do manage-bde -status c: the TPM option does not appear.
I want to save the password in the DA
Does this affect what I want?
As I have to proceed?

    Hi @monica ace cid

First Bitlocker is a security feature and not a necessary feature for saving passwords and doesn't affect the way you are going to save the data or affect your process.

BitLocker Drive Encryption is a data protection feature that integrates with the operating system and addresses the threats of data theft or exposure from lost, stolen, or inappropriately decommissioned computers.

You can learn more from here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/information-protection/bitlocker/bitlocker-overview

The “false” on TpmReady means that you have the TPM chip on my motherboard but you will have to enable it in BIOS before I can use it. If you see the “false” on TpmPresent, you don’t have the TPM chip on the motherboard.

    Hope this resolves your Query!!
