Our school wishes to make its own corporate identity available in the office programs, as a standard when opening that specific program.

E.g. In Teams - you can choose from existing background templates. How can we add our own branding template at the tenant level, so that each employee can select this file when opening teams? (both in the app and on the web)

From the perspective of Microsoft Teams, I am afraid this is currently not feasible. I've tried submitting this via the dedicated feedback portal for Microsoft Teams, I'll leave the link below so that you or other community members who have similar requests can vote or comment there as well:

Then please understand that "office-teams-windows-itpro" tag is for general questions about Teams. So as regards to other applications like Word,Excel and PowerPoint, you may considering starting a new post using the relevant tags for further confirmation.
