WIndows Update failing to install through software center

Hi All,

I have an issue with Patching for a server that happens to be a DP ( all content is actually on the DP already in the content lab) and as well so snaps are attached. having an issue installing patches so it starts downloading but failed. ccmcache folder does create a folder every time you try to install but it's always empty. any help and assistance, please.

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

    1, Firstly, it's recommended to check the locationservices.log on the client to make sure that the correct SUP point is detected by the client, else make sure that the client is correctly reporting to the SCCM server and that the software update is enabled.

    2, When the policy agent triggers the software update deployment cycle, the scan result is compared with the catalogue and then it downloads only the required updates and install on schedule. We can check the updatestore.log, updatedeploymemt.log and windowsupdate.log for more details.
