Adding Email Field within Azure Directory

Is there a field attribute to give to a bulk create users .cvs file that would include the mail or email field during an import? I notice the User Name field handles that same information, however when I attempted to add a user using the bulk import I was not able to edit the email field afterwords.

Would it be easier to do a bulk invite option for all the staff users in my domain sending them an invitation by email? I have about 550 staff members to add and need the email field to be populated so that it works with the Enterprise programs like Adobe and Canvas. Thanks.

    Hello @Ken Hackler

You can navigate to Azure Portal > Azure Active Directory > Users > Bulk Activities > Click on Bulk Invite and download the template. Below is how the template looks like:

You can paste the email addresses under "Email address to invite [inviteeEmail] Required" column and upload the file under Bulk Invite option. This will set the email address of the invited users in the mail attribute as well.

If all the staff users are part of an Azure tenant, you can to to navigate to Azure Portal > Azure Active Directory > Users > Bulk Activities > Download Users and copy the mail column from the .csv file and paste all the email addresses under "Email address to invite [inviteeEmail] Required" column of the bulk invite csv file.
