I understand you want to know a recommended PC tool by Microsoft. However, there is no such Microsoft recommendation on any PC cleaning tool. I have seen a lot of people use CCleaner, but since it is a third party software, we do not know what are its implications going forward, hence it is not recommended by Microsoft. Make sure you don't end by cleaning any important files, registry keys, etc while using any 3rd party tool.
As your concern is to improve storage, you can enable the Storage Sense that comes with the Windows OS itself and set up rules that will automatically delete temporary files, and files in your recycle bin based on how you configure Storage Sense.
