Hi
We are getting ready for requirement for compliant device to connect to our Sharepoint. This would mean that the device is joined or registered to our MDM.
In this situation, how does guest Teams teams work? If we create a Teams team and invite guests outside our organization to join that team, how does it work?
What I have understood, guest could not join to those teams because it would require joined or registered device which is compliant.
Am I correct or is there some way to to have joined/registered/compliant requirement and still create teams with guests?

Guests in Teams are covered by the same compliance and auditing protection as the rest of Microsoft 365, and can be managed within Azure AD. Guest access is subject to Azure AD and Microsoft 365 or Office 365 service limits.
The guest experience has limitations by design. For a full list of what a guest can and can't do in Teams, see Guest access in Microsoft Teams.
Ok. So if we require compliant device, it will block guest access as well, unless we create a compliance policy that will let only guests to access without compliant device?
