In my case the email address was verified, yet I still had the same issue.

Here is what I do to make Azure Sandbox work:

You might not get answer here as this is a different forum. You may report the sandbox related issue here in last Report feedback section - troubleshooting

I had the same problem and found an empty email address in the Profile | Settings page.

Entering an email address and agreeing to the terms meant I could continue my lessons. You have to agree if you want to continue learning. It's also the email address used to log into Azure for sandboxes. I tried using a different email address to that of my account but the sandbox and the in-browser cloudshell don't work.

On the plus side, at least you can 'Unsubscribe' afterwards which removes the email address (and resumes prevention of sandbox activation)

I had this same issue. The problem was that I was logging in with my username instead of my full email.

So instead of ******@outlook.com, I was using the username promisepreston.

All I had to do was to log out from https://learn.microsoft.com and https://account.microsoft.com

Afterwhich, I logged in to https://learn.microsoft.com/ with my email which is ******@outlook.com

    This time everything worked fine.
