I work service desk at an offshore company that uses virtual machines for their users offsite. Currently the VM's deploy with Office 2010, and it uses a custom14.prf file I've located inside of the office directory. The exchange server associated with this .prf file is no longer valid, we migrated our exchange server. When a new user opens his outlook for the first time, the default profile that is created is not valid. My question is how do I edit this .prf file at the original source of deployment to correct the issue?

    Hi @Jared Jarvis ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Since the support for Office 2010 ended on October 13, 2020, and there will be no extensions and extended security updates, you can still use your office programs. For your better user experience, it is recommended that you use a newer version of office. For more information, please refer to: End of support for Office 2010.

For you mentioned with .prf file related issues, I have searched about it and found an official article, which mentioned that we can manually edit a .prf file: Customize Outlook profiles by using an Outlook Profile (PRF) file. If this doesn't work, I'm afraid you need to recreate a new .prf file.

    Hope this will help you!
