Hi there,

in our SPO we have some pictures with links to external pages. Is it possible to open the links in new windows? I know it does work with e.g. Quicklinks - but unfortunately not, if the links are in pictures?
Thank you!

    Hi @jaWa
There is a simple and fast method to achieve your requirement: just hold down "ctrl" when you click the picture, it will open in new windows, this feature is provied by browser.

I found a workaround how to open hyperlinks of images in a new tab by default, which is working for me:

    1. add image with a hyperlink
    2. activate "add text over image"
    3. add the hyperlink on the image (edit directly on the image)
    4. publish
    5. edit again
    6. deactivate "Add text over image" of the respective image
    7. republish

Now if you click on the image the hyperlink will be opened in a new tab (crazy ...)
