vCPU quota incorrect

I recently deleted an E16-4ds_v4 virtual machine. Once the machine was deleted I noticed that quota of vCPUs doesn't included the vCPUs that where allocated to that machine.

How do I get these back or am I misunderstanding how the quota works?

    @Mark Millington checking into this it appears that the E16-4ds_v4 VM still counts as 16vCPU in the limits. I tested and believe this is as expected, working to confirm and update the documentation so it reflects this. I will update this thread once it is confirmed and updated.

    So your limits look like this.
    3 * E4ds_v4 =12 vCPU
    1 * E16-4ds_v4 = 16 vCPU
    EDSv4 Family vCPUs = 28
    2 * D4_v3 = 8 vCPU
    Total Regional vCPUs = 28 + 8 = 36

    @Anonymous I have added the screen shots you requested but have obfuscated the virtual machine names.

    The two D4_v3 machines both have 4 VCPUs

    The three E4ds_v4 machines have 4 VCPUs
    The E16-4ds_v4 machine also has 4 VCPUs allocated to it. I initially setup an E16ds_v4 machine but then deleted it and resized this machine from an E4ds_v4. I resized it incorrectly. When I look at our regional allowance it says we have used 28 of 32 but my calculations are 24 out of 32.

    Please can you assist.

    @Mark Millington
    I understand that you are deleting a VM but still seeing it count towards the vCPU limit. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding.

    Once your instance is deleted the usage should be restored for both the VM-family vCPU and regional vCPU quotas. If you are not seeing it restored, please share screenshots from the Usage + quotas page and the Virtual machines page. We will be happy to work with you directly to investigate.
