The Container Monitoring solution support will be retired on March 31st 2025. Customers should migrate their workloads to Kubernetes on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Arc enabled Kubernetes to use Azure Monitor container insights to monitor their workloads. Azure Monitor container insights offers an improved experience including support for single click onboarding, Azure Monitor metrics, out of the box Recommended Alerts, and automatic agent updates.

For the statement about 2022 (“Beginning 31 March 2022, you'll not be able to deploy the Azure container monitoring solution.”), does this mean the solution can’t be redeployed either for those 3 years? For example, what happens if the service breaks and needs a redeployment and reconfiguration?

Post reviewing the query with our internal team, it has been called out that customers will be able to redeploy your existing solutions, however, we will not be able to support them if you choose to deploy on additional new VMs. So, recommendation is to migrate off the solution as quickly as possible.
Our team is also working to add this information in our documentation.

Thank you for clarification, but it looks like we are not using this service and this was confirmed by a support ticket to MS.
Obviously, this mail is not relevant to us and MS should find the right way to communicate to the users who are using this service! Hope this is improved.
