We have a azure postgres flexible server.

It has public end point and we want to make it private.

How to change azure postgres flexible server from public to private vnet and vice-versa?

Here we have a limitation on changing Private to Public check the documentation for reference.

The option here is you need to dump and restore,

So, we can't change from public to private and private to public

Is there any altternatives?

we have a customer database which we need to export all the data to the database in private vnet of postgres.
As you mentioned there is no option to change it back to public.

What is the procedure you can suggest for transferring the data from customer database to our azure private vnet one.
Is there any possibility to connect directly this database from their environment also?
