Trying to install AD Connect on a 2019 VM using express mode, getting an error after proceeding past the warning about not all domains being verified.

System.DirectoryServices.ActiveDirectory.ActiveDirectoryOperationException: A local error has occurred.

I had already checked all of that.

I got around the issue by doing a custom (not express) install but choosing all the express install options. It was a lot more steps to complete the install but it didn't fall over itself in the process.

    Hi @Steve Boswell ,

Please validate the Azure AD Connect: Accounts and permissions

Also, you can review Prerequisites for Azure AD Connect

If the permission and requirement are ok, please share the screenshots of your process.

    Hope this helps,
    Carlos Solís Salazar
