I have the student subscription and have successfully provisioned the databricks workspace, but I'm having trouble creating the cluster. The green circle spins around for an hour until it times out. It says "finding instances for new nodes, acquiring more instances if necessary."

I am facing the same problem with my trial Azure account. Not able to spawn a any type of cluster. Please let meknow if anything with firewall needs to be checked.

Just to summarize the ask here - you have created a databricks resource in you student/free subscription and when you try to create a cluster it keep on pending forever but unable to create the cluster. Please correct me if I'm not clear.

Could you please review the suggestion provided in that link and see if that helps to resolve your issue.

I have issues with azure databricks in production. Jobs are pending and clusters don’t start
the jobs were running fine using a pool and this morning from 10AM UTC the jobs are in pending status. It is the first time I see these issues. In dev environment I dont have problems
Need urgent support
