We're trying to create a Windows VM in Azure Portal, but the size we wish to select, namely Standard D2, is grayed.

We appretiate any help that can help us resolve the issue.

Regards,
Luis

    Hi @Luis Reyna

    Thank you for asking this question on the **Microsoft Q&A Platform. **

    Try changing the region where you are creating the VM.

    Also, it could be because that size has been retired

    Hope this helps,

    @Luis Reyna

    Looks like there has been capacity issues in few regions and few other customers have reported similar issues.

    Please try to deploy the VM in West Europe as few customers acknowledged that this workaround helped them in successfully deploying the VM.

    Hope this helps.
