We currently have an ADMX template that is on Windows Server 2008 R2 and I have no access to GPMC fully yet. But, is there a way to update this to a newer version which might support more features and if so how would i go about uploading the newer one over the older version.

Thanks in advance

What features are you asking about? It's possibly you may need a higher domain functional level which of course means the domain controller operating system will need to change.

    Hi,

Try to launch GPMC from windows 2016 or windows 2019.
Some settings on new ADMX version can't be shown by GPMC on WIndows 2008.
