Hi all, I had a IT expert install On Prem AD RMS to protect my fileserver as I feared an employee copying my files. Problem now is that AD RMS has failed and I have engaged numerous techs to review/fix but none have been able to do so. Today I found a copy of RMS SP2 Administration Toolkit and tried to run it as a Group domain Administrator. Most of the programs go to open and then shut down. RMS Cert Analyser opened with an error message 184342-image.png][1] When I select continue and select any of the options, it just repeats the same error message. ![184304-image.png][2] See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Pipeline.Shared, Version=5.2.3790.300, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. Apologies for the delay in reaching out to you. From the issue description looks like you are not able to connect to the database where RMS is configured ?

Did you document the initial configuration ( when it was set up/working ) ? if so we can refer that find the database name and troubleshoot the issue.

Any errors in the event logs ?

    Reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/identity/event-id-84-occurs-ad-rms-windows-server

Let me know if you have any questions.
