Hello,
I've recently tried out the Storage Spaces feature for the first time, I've pooled 2 HDD and 1 SSD drives that are all connected through SATA with simple resiliency (I know about the risks :P). Everything seems fine, however BitLocker sees the storage pool as a removable drive instead of a fixed one. Is it an intended behavior? If not how can I fix it?

The issue of BitLocker seeing the storage pool as a removable drive lies in your BIOS, and has little to nothing to do with Windows. Check if you can update your BIOS and all other drivers and see if that sorts the issue.
There is also a registry hack posted by a user in the forum which has sorted the issue for him, I would suggest you to give it a try and see how it goes.
