VisualStudio 2017 Sign In feature : what is the process behind it? port? IP?

at my job we went from VS2010(on win2008) to VS2017(on win2019) and we were told that sign in would give us all required licence needed, instead of requesting a key (which every developper would have to do - and is quite costly).
the environnement on which VS is installed is a pretty closed one. Everything must go through a whitelist to be used.
I tried to use procmon.exe to check how the sign in process works.
Procmon line:
10:26:32,7196988 devenv.exe 7636 CreateFileMapping C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ieframe.dll

anyone can help finding the adress or port to whitelist to be able to sign in?

    Hi @Sophie Dionne ,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

Please check for your Internet connection and ensure it is stable.

If you have any anti-virus software enabled on your PC, please temporarily disable them.

Besides, you can refer to the following link to add Microsoft Domains to an allowlist:

    Sincerely,
    Anna
