With Group Policy "Run Only Specified Windows Applications" - On Windows 10 - Opening: Settings->...->"Printer Properties" says "This Operation Has Been Canceled Due to Restrictions in Effect on this computer."

I can't find the EXE that Printer Properties calls that is being restricted. If I remove the Group Policy "Run Only Specified Windows Applications" printer properties opens fine. The same problem with Printing Preferences or hardware Properties or anything on the "Manage You Device" settings page.

With Process Explorer i found that these run so i have listed them in the specified applications list, but i still get the error.
backgroundtaskhost.exe
svchost.exe
rundll32.exe
systemsettings.exe

Does anyone know what i need to add to the list to allow these functions to run?

Thanks again!

    Hi @Support Wedoit

Please check The registry and then try again
    Fixing the Registry
    Remove the following registries:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\Connections

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Classes\Local Settings\Printers\Roamed

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Providers\LanMan\ Print Services\Servers\Printers

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows NT x86\Drivers\Version-3
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-3
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\Windows x64\Drivers\Version-4
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows

applied the ‘wmic printer get name’ in command prompt to show the printers.

Afterwards, to delete the printers, Please Apply the ‘printui.exe /dl /n “printer name” command in the CMD console. Then restart the computer. After restarting the computer, Apply the ‘printui /s /t2’ command to show the Print Server Properties console. Remove the remaining installed printer drivers and restarted the computer again.

After doing all of the above, install the necessary printer drivers on the computer.ac
    And see if it helps,

    Thank you
