When exposing Azure SQL server to Power Bi there are 3 options. Option 1 - (No Gateway / Public Network Access) which exposes all azure services to the SQL server end point. If we were to utilize the whitelist option, our understanding is Power Bi platform currently uses dynamic ip addresses. Is there a MASTER IP list/location where these reside and how often do IP addresses changed?
Does Microsoft send alerts to any changes to this list. How do other customers manage this? Such as automated scripts to update the allowed IPs on the SQL server. Can Dynamics CRM communicate with Azure SQL server using option 1 with whitelisting. Are there any drawbacks or restriction we should be aware off?
