Once I get to the "size" section of the VM all options are grayed out.

@Sergio Ramirez , Are you using a student account? If yes, you are entitled to use only B1 VMs.

Can you please share more details about your account type and the screenshot of the error? Thanks.

Thanks, @Sergio Ramirez , for sharing the screenshot. If you click on "Seel all Sizes", you can see B1 series VMs. If you can't see the B1 series then change the region and try again. Please let me know if you still have the issue (and what items you are seeing when you lick see all sizes".

I've changed my region from EastUS to EastUS 2 as well as to WestUS and I still have this issue

Sometimes, there might be some capacity issues in the data center that will not allow you to create a few VMs. The option is to change the region and give it a try. Glad to hear that you can create a VM in West Europe. Thanks.
