Hi everyone, I have a question. I'm currently doing a research on Azure AD for my Internship, lets say I want to use the extra security features like PIM and JIT from the P2 license. Lets say I have 1 Admin account which has P2, do the tenants I want to oversee as an Admin also need P2 or can they just stay as P1 since some of the tenants don't need a P2 license necessarily since they won't use the features. Thank you for your quick response!, this has truly been really helpful.
Although I've read through some other Qs and notice that some people say that people who directly or indirectly use the P2 license will also need to have that license running on their account. So now I am not really sure what is right or not.

I am the administrator of a Tenant, and we only have a P2 license for Global Administrators.

Everyone else has P1 licenses.

So, What I telling you is about my experience.

You can start with the schema of licenses that you propose and assess it. If you have any issues, you can change the licenses from P1 to P2, right?

Thanks a lot for your personal experience!, its great to learn from others.

I could indeed always change the licenses I would like to, but since its a research for my internship I was not allowed to do so in the environment that I work in now. I appreciate the help.
