Microsoft.ContainerRegistry resource provider stuck at "Registering"

For some reason the Microsoft.ContainerRegistry resource provider (among others) was not registered in our Microsoft Partner Network subscription. So I tried to register it in our Subscription settings. However, the provider is now stuck in status "Registering" since yesterday. Is there anything I can do?
