Hi there.

Hoping someone can help me.

I've built a single Windows 2022 Standard server.

I have installed and setup 'Routing and remote access' with SSTP VPN using a free 'lets encrypt/certify the web' SSL.

I have installed and setup 'Remote desktop Gateway' using the same SSL listed above ^^

When the first server boots. Remote desktop Gateway works fine. The routing and Remote access service does not starts therefore my vpn does not work.

To fix the routing and remote access service not starting. I have to restart the 'network policy server' service. Then start the 'routing and remote access' service.

Routing and remote access starts working. And I can connect my SSTP VPN.

But now Remote Desktop Gateway Stops working.

If I reboot the server. Same thing happens.

Can someone please share their knowledge with me.

Kindest regards.

    Fixed.

Go to NPS, find accounting, and click "Change Log File Properties". Disable "If logging fails, discard connection requests".

    Hi @Jesse Flintoff

It might happen as Routing and remote access services are depended on different Windows services .

You can resolve it by changing services Startup mode to "Delayed Startup" so that It will start Service after all dependent and Windows Operating systems services will be started.

Hope this answers your question :)
    Thank you.
