Hello! I’m trying to use speech translation online from my browser, trying to translate a video from a platform that doesn’t have subtitles, but the site version of speech translation doesn’t work anymore! I’ve checked my mic settings but everything is the same as usual.. I tried to change my device, but I have the same problem. What can I do to solve this issue? Thank you in advance!

Are you uploading a file or using the 'speak' button? If using the 'speak' button, can you clarify how you're transmitting the audio for the service to translate? Please share steps to reproduce this issue. Thanks!

2022-03-29T07:18:48.217+00:00 I can't reproduce the video when I use the "speak button", I tried to use the platform with videos from Youtube, from Tedtalks and nothing works. I tried to use it from English and Russian into Italian, and as always, I used the same device and reproduced the video directly from the platform! (I usually let the video start and I click on the speak button and the software works without any problems).

2022-03-29T07:26:15.61+00:00 Thanks for clarifying. So you are playing video on same device and trying to translate from English to Russian/Italian using the demo tool. I tried playing a video on YouTube and it works as expected on my end. I'd say check your browser settings. If using chrome, ensure that you've provided access to your microphone. If you're using headphones, that might affect it too.

2022-03-29T17:28:24.343+00:00 I'm not exactly sure what could cause this issue. Can you try using a different device if that's available? I had someone try and it works just fine.

2022-03-29T17:43:30.88+00:00 It's working perfectly since yesterday. Actually it stated to work like an hour later as I put my comment here last day, and it's working since then.
Anyway, I tried to use the Speak button and speak my own voice, from German to Hungarian language at first, and a few other languages later (like English-Finn, English-German) last week. It looked like it didn't repsonse the microphone, but mic settings were ok and enabled everywhere. The text box kept writing "Start speaking".
Whatever happened, I'm really glad it's working again. I really like this software and thank you for your help anyway.
@fran , I'd suggest to test it again if you would'nt try it since yesterday.
