Would a email forward rule solve your problems? If not I can recommend looking into Power Automate to handle this.
Automatically copy email from inbox to group
I have outlook group made to receive auto generated dashboard and currently all new members are subscribed to receive emails in their inbox but I got a request to populate group with these automatic dashboard emails so users can historically easily go thru them without searching their inbox.
Basically, they want email to be in both places.
What I have been doin is coping/dragging email from my inbox to the group and recording it like that for now.
Is there a way to automate this so I can have emails logged in users inbox as well as in group?
Appreciated.

Optionally, members can "subscribe" to the Group and have messages delivered directly in their own Inbox. This is all available OOTB, no need to configure any additional functionality.
