Can we Hide Files Tabs in Teams Channels?

Is it Possible to hide Files Tab from Teams Channels?

Here is my requirement,

My Client wants restrict drag and drop folders in SharePoint Document library. I have achieved that using SPFx extension but i t is not working Teams Files Tab. Is it possible to Hide the hide the Files Tab or update SPFx functionality in Teams Files Tab?

No, I am afraid this is not feasible at present. I then tried searching around and found some similar posts in the dedicated feedback portal for Microsoft Teams:
