Teams chat window cannot scroll horizontally when there is a code block

Question

When a code region is created in a chat window, we use to be able to scroll left and right but now the overflow/scroll bar is not show:

Not quite sure when this changed but makes the feature unusable without it. I have confirmed with several colleagues and one multiple computers.
