How to set PCIE cardreader or usb cardreader device ready only by GPO or regedit?

The following are what I find for USB storage, you may take a try on card reader.

• GPO
  User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Removable storage access
  Removable Disks: Deny write access
• Regedit
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies
  WriteProtect Dword=1
