search done for only one mailbox. We took the mailbox off of ligtigation hold and now we want to free up space. We are following https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/delete-items-in-the-recoverable-items-folder-of-mailboxes-on-hold?view=o365-worldwide

and stopped at deleting because we don't want to delete email that has not purposely been deleted.. This folder is over the mailbox size.

Name   : DiscoveryHoldsFolderType
FolderType : RecoverableItemsDiscoveryHolds

what is in there? variable? deleted items? unknown?

Those arent "live". Its only messages that the user hard-deleted and should be saved when its under lit hold.
